Am I insane?
Are you afraid?
We’re just getting started
Are you broken hearted?
I’m out of love
Now I’m out for blood
If New Year’s Day REALLY wanted to offend people, they’d show footage of people burning Bibles, lynching black people, crapping on pictures of Holocaust victims, or just generally being assholes to any minority group in their music videos instead of blood and sex. But of course, they aren’t ACTUALLY trying to offend as many people as possible, they just want to look dark and edgy and it honestly just makes them look like such wannabes, which is a shame, because they have potential.
I don’t understand how them putting sex, blood, and violence into their videos/pictures/live shows make them look like wannabes? Who do they wannabe? Like people explain yourselves a little if you’re going to send in a confession. I agree that the stuff they do isn’t really offensive (well at least to the people who like that stuff) but I honestly just think they like the edgy look so they try to honor it… Idk how that’s being a wannabe… I think what they do is cool and unique tbh.
